Prayer times app for mosques worldwide
The exact jamaat times of your own mosque
Most prayer apps calculate the azan time. Your jamaat starts when your mosque decides. AlMasjidi shows the azan and jamaat times your mosque sets itself — with an azan alert, a reminder before jamaat and every announcement from your imam.

The board looks just like the clock on your mosque wall.
Why AlMasjidi?
“Asr begins at 3:52” is not the same as “jamaat is at 4:30”. AlMasjidi tells you the second one.
Set by your mosque
The imam or mosque admin publishes the times from a phone. You see exactly what they publish: azan, jamaat, or both.
Changes reach you first
Winter timings, Ramadan, Eid prayer: the mosque schedules a change in advance and your app switches on the right day.
Nothing to set up
Scan the QR poster at the mosque entrance or pick the mosque from a list. Alerts are ready straight away.
Everything you need to pray in jamaat
One simple app built around one thing: praying with your mosque, on time.
Your mosque’s real times
Azan and jamaat times entered by the mosque itself, including Jumu’ah with more than one jamaat and the khutbah time.
Azan alert at prayer time
A full alert at each prayer, even without internet. Switch each prayer on or off.
Reminder before jamaat
A nudge 5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 minutes before the jamaat, chosen for each prayer, so you never miss the takbeer.
Your mosque’s own azan
When your mosque uploads its recording you hear your own muezzin, with a separate azan for Fajr.
Silence your phone at iqama
When the imam taps “Iqama started”, you get an alert with a Silence phone button. One tap and no ringing in the prayer hall.
Time changes, scheduled
The mosque sets new times in advance. The board shows “Asr → 4:15 from 1 Nov” and switches by itself.
Mosque announcements
Eid prayer, taraweeh, janazah, a dars: straight from your imam to your phone.
Scan the QR, follow the mosque
Every mosque gets a printable QR poster. Scan it and the mosque is in your app; without the app it opens the live timetable.

Azan times you can trust, to the minute
When a mosque has not published its own azan time, AlMasjidi uses your city’s official published calendar, and calculates only where there is none.
The mosque’s own times
What the imam publishes always comes first.
Your city’s published calendar
Where your city has an official or trusted published timetable, AlMasjidi follows it to the minute.
Calibrated calculation
Everywhere else, the method used in your country, checked against official times from 65 countries: 1,004 of 1,351 values exact, 1,280 within one minute.
The board always names its source — the mosque, the city’s calendar or the calculation method — with a “Wrong time? Report it” link.

Questions people ask
Is AlMasjidi free?
Yes. Prayer and jamaat times, azan alerts, reminders, announcements, Qibla and the mosque QR poster are free, with no ads. The only paid part is the optional Mosque Committee (accounts and chat) for mosque committees.
How is AlMasjidi different from other prayer time apps?
Other apps calculate the azan time for your location. AlMasjidi shows the jamaat time your mosque actually keeps, published by the mosque itself, and reminds you before it starts.
Where do the azan times come from?
In this order: the time your mosque publishes; otherwise your city’s official published calendar; otherwise a calculation checked against official times. The board names the source.
Which countries does AlMasjidi cover?
Mosques around the world, with new countries being added. Calculated prayer times and the Qibla compass work anywhere.
Do I need an account?
No. The app works fully as a guest. Sign in with Google or Apple only if you manage a mosque, or to keep your mosques when you change phones.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Your mosque’s times are saved on the phone, alerts are scheduled on the phone and the Qibla compass works offline. Internet is needed only to receive changes and announcements.
Is there an iPhone app?
Android comes first and the iPhone app is coming soon. Every mosque also has a web page with its live timetable that opens on any phone.
My mosque is not in the app. What can I do?
Ask your imam or a mosque admin to claim it; it takes a few minutes. If the mosque is missing altogether, anyone standing at it can add it with a photo. Until then the app shows prayer times for your area.
Can I hear my own mosque’s azan?
Yes, once the mosque uploads its recordings (one for Fajr, one for the other prayers). It becomes the alert sound for everyone who follows the mosque.
How does a mosque update its times?
From the imam’s phone: type the times, or photograph the clock board and the app reads it. Followers are told when the times change. See the guide for imams.
